The surgery placing the breast implants may be the only surgery needed, but there is a chance of a repair or replacement surgery in the future. Some surgeons can perform the procedure in a clinic based setting rather then the hospital operating room, which is expensive all by itself. The clinic setting is generally more cost effective and can reduce the cost by thousands.

There are thousands of doctors around the world that will perform breast implants, so the cost is sometimes competitive. Especially in the larger cities where there are several surgeons competing for the implant business, therefore offering lowered costs. Cost should not be your only deciding factor. Granted that is a lot of money to fork over, but you also are talking about a medical procedure that can have complications if not completed correctly.

The breast implant price is not cheap and generally carries a hefty price. For many women it is not a question of money, but one of self-esteem and confidence. A woman's breasts are important to her and one can not put a price tag on that.
